Doris Cheramie Creppel

Doris Cheramie Creppel, 67, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 30th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.

Doris is survived by her husband, Howell G. “T-Howard” Creppel; children, Danny Rousse, Jr. (Catina), Dolly Pitre (Reggie), Brenda Ledet (Uriah) and David Rousse, Sr.; grandchildren, Lain McMaster, Mason Snell, Danny Rousse, III, Lestat Pitre, Katie Snell, Logun Ledet and David Rousse, Jr.; brothers, Gary Cheramie, Jessie Cheramie, Dickey Cheramie and Paul Cheramie; sisters, Martha Daigle, Brenda Creppel, Odile Cheramie and Theresa Cheramie.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Marcel, Sr. and Earline Cheramie; brothers, Marcel Cheramie, Jr., James Cheramie and Ted Cheramie; sisters, Linda Cheramie and Emelda Gisclair.
