Doreda "Tootie" Acosta

Doreda “Tootie” Acosta, 87, a native and resident of Larose, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Acosta (Celeste), Marty Acosta (Jeri) and Chad Acosta (Sheri); granddaughters, Brittany Acosta Malone (Michael), Anna Claire Acosta, Madeline Acosta and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doreda is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Earl Acosta; parents, Noah and Henrietta Bouvier Gros; brothers Noah J. Gros and Linwood “Pookie” Gros; sisters, Lilly Lagrange and Reba Lagrange and grandson, Robert Michael Acosta.
The Acosta Family would like to thank The Broadway Staff and Notre Dame Hospice for all their care and support.
