Donald "Rae" Joseph Cheramie, 74, a native and resident of Galliano was born on September 14, 1943 and passed on January 23, 2018 at Ochsner Hospital.
He is survived by his children: daughter, Deany M. Cheramie, Ph. D.; son, Jess J. Cheramie; son, Don Cheramie; and son, Dustin Cheramie. Grandchildren: Timothee Cheramie, Alexandra Cheramie, and Don Cheramie II. Sister: Mona Ray Chouest.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Hector P. Cheramie and Yvonne Cheramie; his brother, Theogene "Gene" Cheramie; and his wife, Terry L. Cheramie.
By his wishes there will be no services.
