Dick P. Callais, 79, a native and resident of Galliano passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, August 18th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Sally Ann Callais, Mandy (Claude) Callais Griffin; brothers, Junius Callais, Andrew Callais, Jr.; sisters, Irma "Mae" Esponge, Anna Jane Danos, Luanna Lesur, Mary Musa; grandchildren, Andrea Marie (Carmen) Perez, Tammy Ann (Jody) Ledet, Holden (Lynn) Griffin, Claude (Nikki) Griffin; great grandchildren, Courtnee Guidry, Kylee Guidry, Jessie Guidry, Caitlyn Griffin, Richard Ledet, Nicholas Ledet, Byron Perez, Tannis Griffin; great grandchildren on the way, Sydnei Griffin, Carmen Perez, Baby Ledet.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Syble Jane Callais; parents, Andrew, Sr. and Elodie Callais; son, Richard P. Callais; daughters, Tammy Marie Callais, Donna Frances Callais; brothers, Dudley Callais, George Callais; sister, Velma Lacky.
