Diana R. Cheramie, 73, a native of Cut Off and resident of Grand Isle, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, on Thursday, December 17th at 9 am until 10:45 am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Diana is survived by her husband of 25 years, John C. Cheramie; children, Angela Bagala, Charles Cheramie, Erica Yanner; special friend, Coco; grandchildren, Wade Bagala, Jr, Michael Bagala, Ryan Bagala, Cade Tillery, Obie Tillery, Jonah Yanner; great grandchildren, Payton Parr, Sammie Jo Bagala, Beau Bagala, Lillie Bagala; brother, Philip Bychurch and sister, Joy Lynne Bychurch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Theresa Bychurch; son, Richard “Dicky” Griffin, Jr. and grandson, Nicholas Cheramie.
Family and friends knew her as MeMe. She was always quick to offer you something to eat and drink and you always left with a smile.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
