Dennis M. "Red" Griffin

Dennis M. “Red” Griffin, 72, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Saturday, September 19th from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Red is survived by his wife of 53 years, Raydean R. Griffin; children, Audrey Griffin (Houston) Saucier, Lonny (Dana D.) Griffin and Denise Griffin Melancon; grandchildren, Mark Griffin, Cy Griffin, Devin Griffin (Brennon) Bernard, Seth Griffin, Michaela Melancon, Ryne Melancon and Adriane Saucier; siblings, Donald Griffin, Diane G. Lasseigne, Patricia G. LeCompt, Robin G. Lefort, Robert Griffin, Perry Griffin, Victor Griffin, Anthony (Tony) Griffin.
Red was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Matthew Griffin, Sr.; mother, Emily Griffin Link; brothers, Daniel M. Griffin Jr., John Griffin, Cary Griffin; grandchild, Mikey Joseph Griffin; father-in-law, Matthew Anthony Romero; mother-in-law, Marie Boudreaux Romero.
