Delta Eva LeCompte Bourgeois, 95, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Clyde P. Bourgeois and wife Sissy; daughters, Marlene B. Gaudet and Priscilla B. Chipman and husband George; sisters, Joyce L. Christian and Anna Lee L. Pitre; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gillis "Chic" Bourgeois; parents, Fernand and Annette LeCompte; son, Donald L. Bourgeois; brothers, Alvin LeCompte and Alton LeCompte; grandson, Paul Bourgeois.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
