Della H. "Grom Della" Cheramie, 88, a native and resident of Galliano passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
Visitation will be held at Christian Family Center on Tuesday, January 12th from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery
She is survived by her sons, Filton A. Cheramie, Jr. (Norma), Troy Cheramie (Charlene); daughters, Kate Duet (Mervin), Ruth Adams (Craig), Zoe Ann Savoy (Evans, Jr.), Tina Cheramie; brothers, Hoover Hebert (Geraldine), Volse Hebert (Earline); sister, Myrtle Griffin (John); 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Filton Antoine Cheramie, Sr.; parents, Onezime and Normandy "Tin" Hebert; son, Johnny Paul Cheramie; brother, Calvin Hebert; sister, Janet Dantin.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
