Della Mae Breaux

Della Mae Breaux, age 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 with Louis (Marguerite) and others at her bedside. Della was a caregiver first and always with a kind heart she never complained. She loved people and was always open to speak with anyone. Foremost, she loved God. We will always love and miss you Della. May you rest in God’s arms.

She is survived by her brother, Louis Breaux and wife Marguerite along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry J. Breaux, Sr. and mother, Louisia Landry Breaux, sisters, Alice B. Bourgeois (Godfrey), Shirley B. Guidry (Sidney), Delores B. Foret (Benny), Mary Pearl Breaux, and brothers, Eddie Breaux (Marguerite C.), Harry Breaux, Jr. (Jeanne) and Earl Breaux (Irvine).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17th at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Savior Catholic Church and St. Hilary Catholic Church as well as the staff at the Broadway Elder Rehab and Living Center, also Notre Dame Hospice for their care.
