Daniel A. Eschete, 70, a native and resident of Larose passed away December 31, 2013. Visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes in Cut Off on Sunday January 5, 2014 from 5 till 9 and on Monday January 6, 2014 from 8 till 10:30. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 Monday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with burial following in the Church cemetery.
Mr. Eschete is survived by his wife of 51 years Linda D. Eschete, son Darrell Eschete and wife Julie, daughter Rachel Eschete and fiancé Darrel Pierce, grandchildren Joshua Gautreaux and fiancé Traci Ledet, Mark Gautreaux Jr., Trent Eschete and Jacob Eschete, great-grandchild Owen Gautreaux , brother Gilbert Eschete, and sisters Lorraine Adams, Eloise Plaisance, Annabelle Henry, Irene Barrilleaux and Earline Richardelle
He was preceded in death by his parents Isreal and Marie C. Eschete, son Danny Eschete, brothers Paul Eschete, Earl Eschete, Ernest Eschete, Nolan Eschete, T-John Eschete and Murphy Eschete.
Mr. Daniel was an avid deer hunter who passed away doing what he loved; he was a very hard working man who's families needs always came first. The family would like to extend a special thanks to everybody for their prayers, blessings and support in this difficult time.
