Curment William Griffin, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:28 p.m. He was a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Raceland, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland on Saturday, December 2, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Raceland, LA.

Curment is survived by his wife of 19 years, Ramona Conner Griffin; sons, Joseph “Joe” Griffin and wife, Evelyn, and Brook Griffin and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Kritty G. Chouest and husband, Tracy; stepson, Kristopher Henry, Sr. and wife, Alicia; stepdaughter, Amanda Henry; brothers, Dean Griffin and wife, Holly, and Ernie Griffin and wife, Chantel; sisters, Edwanna G. Kieff and husband, John, and Maureen G. Pagliughi and husband, Peter; sister-in-law, Patsy Griffin; grandchildren, Connor Chouest, Lexie Henry, Gavin Chouest, Matthew Griffin, Anna Griffin, and Kristopher Henry, Jr.; and close family friends, Barry Corb, Wayne Hornsby, Don Fos, and Terry Guidry.

Curment was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Paul Griffin Sr. and Dudline Celeste Vizier Griffin; brother, Louis P. Griffin, Jr.; nephew, Darby Silas Cheramie and grandparents, Joseph and Adrienne Guidry Griffin, and Silas and Cesle Cheramie Vizier.

Curment enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and crabbing, and cutting his grass. He spent the rest of his days watching fox news and spending time with his friends and love ones.
