Corinne Galiano Guidry

Corinne Galiano Guidry, 70, a native of Cut Off and resident of Gloster, MS passed away on November 13, 2018. A visitation will take place on November 20, 2018 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose from 9:00 am until service time. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.

Mrs. Corinne is survived by her husband of 52 years; Jessie J. Guidry Jr., daughters; Tanya Callais (Brian), Tish Hebert (David), two women she helped raise; Elizabeth Calkins (Marty), Bernadette Chouest (Matthew), grandchildren; Alyssa Callais, Travis Hebert, Emma Hebert, Brian Calkins, Nicole C. Sanders, Justin Calkins, Matthew “T-Matt” Chouest, mother; Bernice Dantin Galiano, brother; Ernie Galiano and furry friends; Queenie and Aussie.

Mrs. Guidry was preceded in death by her son; Travis John Guidry, father; Amy J. Galiano, father-in-law; Jessie Guidry, Sr., mother-in-law; Josephine Bruce Guidry, brother-in-law; Ronald Guidry, and sisters-in-law; Joyce L. Galiano.

She enjoyed opening her home to friends and family in her retirement years. She will be remembered as a talented seamstress. Carnival was her favorite season, her most memorable experience was her reign as Queen XXX of the Krewe of Versailles.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Ochsner Kenner for their care and compassion during the final year of her life.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation in Mrs. Corinne’s name to the American Cancer Society.
