Chris A. Chiasson, Sr., 59, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Monday, March 27th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Chris is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandra M. Chiasson; sons, Corey (Jamie) Babineaux, Sr., Ricky Babineaux, and Chris (Randi) Chiasson, Jr.; grandchildren, Corey Babineaux, Jr., Dawson Babineaux, Austin Babineaux, Zayn Haydel, Vaeda Chiasson, and Alex Chiasson; brothers, Norman Chiasson, Jr., Robert Chiasson, Olan Chiasson, and Joachim “Rock” Chiasson; sisters, Dian Guidroz, and Sheila Foret; fur baby, Dolly.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Norman, Sr. and Rita Chiasson; brothers, Lenwood Chiasson, and Loveless Chiasson, and Curtis Chiasson.
