Carroll A. Angeron, a native of Galliano and resident of Larose, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at the age of 74.
A visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Friday, June 5 from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose at 2:00 pm on Friday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 57 years, Audrey Guidroz Angeron, 2 daughters, Tamy Lasseigne (Bud) and Pam Pitre (David), 3 sons, Reese Angeron (Stephanie), Roddy Angeron (Mattie) and Reggie Angeron (Rachael), 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren with 3 great-grandchildren on the way, brother, Kirk Angeron (Angela), sisters, Shari David (Hilton) and Trudy Pierce (Farrell).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian Angeron and Clara Pitre Angeron, father-in-law, Edward Guidroz and mother-in-law, Mae Guidroz.
Carroll was a family man who especially loved being a paw to his grandchildren; he enjoyed working outside and was an avid NASCAR fan.
