Carrie Lou Marie Gisclair, 71, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away March 17, 2016. Visitation will take place on Fri. March 18, 2016 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off from 9:00 am till service time. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral parlor at 12 noon with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mrs. Carrie is survived by her children Melissa Billiot (Kelvin), Mitchel Gisclair (Angela), Marla Billiot (Chris), Murry Gisclair (Cindy), Mickey Gisclair (Angel), Madrick Gisclair (Angela) and Marion Griffin (Dickie) 22 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, and siblings Gertie Cheramie, Edith Cheramie and Theresa Mcdonald.

Mrs. Gisclair was preceded in death by her husband James "Jim" Gisclair, son Marty Gisclair, grandchild Ritchie Griffin, and siblings Lester Gisclair, Linda Bruce, Audrey Mae Adams, Cleo Gisclair, Claude Gisclair, and Norman Gisclair.

Mrs. Carrie liked playing bingo, cards, yahtzee, crossword puzzles and going to casinos.
