Carolyn “Teatsie” Babin, 69, a native Houma and resident of Raceland passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews on Monday, November 18th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux, Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Babin; sons, Jason (Wendy) Champagne, Cody (Tiffanie) Champagne and Kelly Champagne; twin brother, Carol (Mary) Breaux; sisters, Judy (Franky) Jefferies, Patty Richard and Joy (Wayne) Lasseigne; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman, Sr. and Blanche Breaux; brothers, Norman Breaux, Jr. and Cecile Breaux; sister, Barbara “T” Holmes.
She loved bowling and fishing.
