Carl is survived by his companion, Joan Guidry; parents, Carl, Sr. and Barbara J. Dufrene; son, Sean Carl (Kia) Thomas; brothers, Mark Dufrene, Sr. and David Dufrene; sister, Carla Hebert; grandchildren, Alex Callais, Rhiannon Callais and Hunter Callais.
Carl was a fantastic musician who had fans in every state. He had a huge kind heart and touched everyone he met.
