Calvin Anthony Thibodeaux, Sr.

Calvin A. Thibodeaux, Sr., a native of Larose and resident of Raceland, LA passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews on Wednesday, May 5th from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Calvin is survived by his companion, Geraldine Robichaux; sons, Calvin A. Thibodeaux Jr. (Tracy), Kevin Thibodeaux (Kathryn), Kalon Thibodeaux (Toni); daughter, Cambria Guidry (Harris); grandchildren, Morgan, Lindsay, Kyle, Brandon, Jason, Daniel, Tyler; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Landon, Rhett, Jaci, Lana Rae and Kendyl; brother, Jeffery Thibodeaux.
Calvin was preceded in death by his wife Sherryanne F. Thibodeaux; parents, Calis and Eugenie Thibodeaux; brothers, Clifton Thibodeaux and Clinton Thibodeaux; sisters, Rosemary Bruce and Mary Jane Terrebonne.
Calvin was a tug boat captain for 53 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, going to the casino and watching cowboy movies.
