Bobby J. Bruce Sr.

Bobby J. Bruce, Sr., 78, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Tuesday, November 27th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Shirley G. Bruce; sons, Bobby Bruce, Jr. (JoAnn), Nathan Bruce (Roxanne), Timothy Bruce (Kaye) and Todd Bruce; daughters, Cynthia Serigny, Greta Wainwright (Dennis), Stella Bruce (Terry Dobson), Monique Hebert and Shannon Guy (Jamie); brothers, Douglas Bruce and Brian Bruce; sisters, Geraldine Esponge, Peggy Borne, Carolyn Bourgeois and Sheena Delatte; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Lester, Sr. and Meona Bruce; son-in-law, Bradley Serigny; brothers, Lester Bruce, Jr., Daniel Bruce, Wayne Bruce, Carl Bruce and Larry Bruce; sister, Janice Simms.
Bobby was a proud boat captain for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
