Betty G. Martin

Betty G. Martin, 76, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, November 10th from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Betty is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Christine) Martin, Dana (Dale) Gros and Tanya (Jody) Cheramie; brothers, Jefferson Guidry and Jackson Guidry, Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua Gros, Erin DuBois, Brandon Gros, Brett Cheramie, Jobie Cheramie and Jerald Plaisance; great-grandchildren, Addison Gros, Ava Gros, Emerie Plaisance.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life for 53 years, Elson “Yogi” Martin, parents, Jackson, Sr. and Enola Guidry; brothers, Autry “Gene” Guidry, Terry Guidry and Tommy Guidry; sister, Patsy Cheramie.
Betty’s children and grandchildren were her life. She treasured memories made with her B&E Seafood family and friends. If you were lucky enough to meet Betty, you loved her and she loved you.
