Betty S. Ducote, 70, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 20th at 11 am in Serigny Cemetery.
Betty is survived by her husband of 51 years, John W. Ducote; children, Michelle Cheramie (Billy), Angela Ducote, Anna Ducote, Shelby Ducote, John Ducote, Jr.; step children, Jim Prestwood (Rebel), Rhonda McCarthy (Tim); “foster son”, EJ Verdin; 13 grandchildren, Reggie, Bailey, Alexis, Colby, Michaela, Adam, Dezmond, Bari, Halen, Kamryn, Heidi, Kyndall, Sawyer; 10 great-grandchildren, Drake, Isaiah, Zoe, Roman, Aurea, Ezra, Emma, Jeremiah, Braelynn, Paxton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Summersgill Serigny and Julia Anselmi Serigny; brothers, Raymond “Falo” Serigny, Richard Serigny and sister, Rema Verdin.
