Beatrice Marie Autin, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, passed into eternity at 2:30 AM, December 20, 2018, from complications caused by coronary artery disease at Terrebonne General Medical Center, Houma.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, December 22, 2018, followed by the funeral at 11:00 AM at South Lafourche Baptist Church, 17077 East Main St., Cut Off, Louisiana, 70345, with funeral procession following services to her internment at Cheramie Cemetery The funeral will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Pollard of Mount Zion Bible Church, Pensacola, FL.
Known affectionately as “MomMom” to her grandchildren and as “Aunt Bea” or “Bea” to everyone else, she is survived by her children, Wendy (Glen) Dana, Myra (Jeff) Pollard, Shull (Elizabeth) Autin; and Dextel Terrebonne; grandchildren, Jasmine (Armin) Grado, Brynn (Casey) Arnold, Tyler Giles; Lacey Pollard, Jordan (Kimberly) Pollard; Bryant Autin, Hannah Autin; Nikita (Victor) Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Christine Authement, Hunter Grado, Kaylor Grado; Emma Arnold, Riley Arnold; Dane Pollard, Nola Pollard, Joss Pollard; Talia Lirrette, Tasia Terrebonne, and Tovi Terrebonne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysse and Leonise (Lefort) Terrebonne, husband Woodrow “Woody” Joseph Autin; brothers Dolton, Lorris, Edison, Evest, and Chester Terrebonne; sisters Ulyssia Terrebonne, Lena Duet, and Odette Pace.
She was born Beatrice Marie Terrebonne in Golden Meadow, September 3, 1930, to Ulysse and Leonise Terrebonne. She married Woody Autin, February 19, 1950; and they were happily married for 49 years. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother, a loyal friend, and a faithful member of South Lafourche Baptist Church. She was thoughtful, hard-working and conscientious in all that she did, and sacrificial in her love to family and friends. All that knew and loved her will deeply miss her; but we are thankful that she passed away with the hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ.
