Audrey E. Matherne

Audrey E. Matherne, 62, a native and resident of Larose, La. passed away on September 18, 2020.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews, La. from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. and reopen on Thursday September 24, 2020 from 8:30am until 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.
Audrey is survived by her daughter; Dawn Cordes Authement and husband Christian, mother; Lorecia Creppel Matherne, sister; Diane Matherne, brother; Johnny Matherne, Sr. and wife Dierdre, grandchild; Ava Rivette, Godchildren; Melissa Ramsey, Chad Sanchez and Jody Matherne.
Audrey was preceded in death by her father; Ernest Matherne, Sr., sister; Nancy Mae Matherne and brother; Ernest Matherne, Jr.
Audrey was a long-time employee of North American Shipyard.
