She was a fiercely independent woman who began her 40 year career at State Bank at age 17, working her way up to branch manager. Former caregivers and therapists called her the "Muffin Lady" as she would often visit them and bring these appreciated treats to them after her rehab from surgery. She was a devout Catholic and volunteered at many retreats and Holy Name functions with her beloved husband. She also was a volunteer at Catholic Charities.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Camille Pitre, and to those wonderful staff members at Broadway Elder Living & Rehabilitation and Notre Dame Hospice for their compassion and care during her residence there.
