Annabelle G. Verdin, 72, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Annabelle is survived by her husband, Adam Verdin, Sr.; sons, Leroy Shadell, Jr., Rockey Guidry, Leffrey Duet; daughter, Donna Shadell Poche; stepsons, Eric, Edward, Adams Jr., Justillien Verdin; stepdaughters, Rebecca Dupre, Pearl Shadell, Jullienne Toups, 8 grandchildren, 23 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 21 step great grandchildren; sisters, Lena Rousse, Gloria Cheramie, Linda Cheramie, Gail Johnfroe and godchildren, Chad Shadell and Rae Dufrene.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lionel and Evella Martin Guidry; brothers, Leffery and Norces Guidry; sisters, Doris Gisclair, Brenda Guidry; son, Dale Shadell, Sr; stepson, Wayne (Verdin) Stewart and step granddaughter, Lexie Verdin.
Samart-Mothe is entrusted with arrangements.
