Anita Hebert

Anita D. Hebert, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Larose, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, October 17th, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Tuesday, October 22 at 12:30 pm until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm, with a graveside service to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

She is survived by her sons, Jarvis Hebert Jr. (Elizabeth), Earl Hebert (Jerrilyn), Michael Hebert (Paula), Marty Hebert, and Eric Hebert (Shonta); daughters, Kathy Verdin and Rebecca Bouvier (Barney); sister, Bella Orgeron; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jarvis J. Hebert Sr.; parents, Wilkerson and Evelia Duplantis; brothers, John Vegas, Moise Vegas, Santo Duplantis, Joseph Duplantis, and William Duplantis; sisters, Hazel Blair, Leola Rousse, Gloria Griffin; and son-in-law, Farron Verdin.
