Andy J. Chiasson, Sr., 66, a native of Larose and resident of Galliano passed away on Saturday February 8, 2014.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Hope Curole Chiasson; son, Andy J. Chiasson, Jr.; daughter, Faith Chiasson Michot and husband Jim; brothers, Raynold "Ray" Chiasson, Jr. and Barbara, Tommy Chiasson and Kathleen, Keith Chiasson and Gwen, Chad Chiasson and Tina; mother-in-law, Adele Guidry Curole; Sister-in-law, Robbin Danos and Mike; brother-in-law, Reynolds Curole and Sylvia; grandchildren, Kevin Michot, Ticy Basulito, Alivia B., Ava Chiasson, Layne Chiasson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raynold, Sr. and Theresa Orgeron Chiasson; father-in-law, Johnny Curole.
In his youth, Andy was a cattleman and a butcher. He was a softball coach and a butcher for 50 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Korea during the Vietnam War.
Andy was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
