Amy "Taunt Mae" T. Billiot, 81, a native of Larose and resident of Grand Bois passed away April 23, 2014. Visitation will take place on April 25, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 11:00 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 pm with burial following in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. Billiot is survived by her children Emmie Billiot, Maxine Billiot, Harris Billiot Jr., Rickey Jean Billiot, Donna Billiot, Nancy Scott, Dave Billiot, Allen Billiot, and Amanda O'Guin (Tyson), grandchildren Ashley, Gage, Raynie, Randa, Brian, Joseph, Lawrence, Dru, Carrie, Edwin Jr., Theresa, Shawn, Rudy, Sheree, 13 great grandchildren, brother Phillip Nacio, and sister Joan Nacio Deshazo.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harris L. Billiot Sr., parents Baptiste Nacio and Victoria Billiot, daughters Patsy Billiot and Shirley Billiot, grandchildren Elizabeth and Crystal, brothers Jean Nacio, Anthony Nacio, and Normand Nacio, and sisters Marie Boudreaux, Antoinette Carnes, and Lenore Atchley.
Taunt Mae enjoyed gardening, family gatherings, dancing, casino's and bingo.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Fadi Abou-Issa and Charlotte Halbrook.
