Alvin Augustin Plaisance

Alvin A. Plaisance,84, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Friday, November 9th from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Alvin A. Plaisance, Jr. (Jo Anna); daughters, Sheila Plaisance St. Pierre (Eddie), Karen Plaisance Blanchard (Mark) and Carla Plaisance Carmouche (Taylor); sisters, Uvalda George, Kate Callais and Vivian Nettles; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hector and Eliska Plaisance; brother, Gilbert Plaisance; sister, Ann Rogers.
