Alice Mary Brunet Leblanc Hendricks

Alice Mary Brunet LeBlanc Hendricks passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Lockport, LA. She was born, February 6, 1929, to Aricia “Alice” Marie Guidry and Armand Joseph Brunet, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Sharon (Delbert) Yoss of Mt. Olive, Mississippi, Bonnie (Thomas) Rehage of Houma, LA, Tami (Scott Smith) LeBlanc of Houston, Texas, Harvey Hendricks, Jr. of Galliano, LA, and Cindy Hendricks of Kentucky; siblings, Christine Brunet Cheramie, Alan Brunet, Sr., and Armand Brunet, III; grandchildren, Jon, Holly, David, Sarah, Mary, Mark, Seana, and Dennis “D.J.”; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kirby, Lawrence, and Jerrel Brunet; husbands, Omar Joseph LeBlanc, and Harvey “Gene” Hendricks; children, Donna Jean LeBlanc, and Dennis Carl Hendricks; two grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her sewing skills, creative craft work, cooking, endless curiosity about the world, and her welcoming personality.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, LA on Tuesday, October 24th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
