Alfreda "Freda" Verdun Richoux, , a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her brother, Jay Verdun; Sisters, Pearline Ledet, Gloria Jarreau.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erman "Jock" Richoux; parents, Martile and Francoise Verdun; brothers, Levi Verdun, Harris Verdun, Viniss Verdun; sisters, Marie Verdun, Lorida Verdun, Laura Mae Billiot, Lorena Holmes.
