Abel "Blue" Trosclair, 87, a native of Larose and resident of Galliano passed away on Friday December 27, 2013.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel in Cut Off on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Trosclair and wife Joann, Kent Trosclair and wife Nena, Ronald Trosclair, Randy Trosclair and wife Kim; daughter, Priscilla "Sis" Toups and husband Jackie; brothers, Mervin Trosclair, Lloyd Trosclair, John Trosclair; sisters, Shirley Bonvillian, Lois Smith, Joyce Hebert; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Effie Vizier Trosclair; parents, Philbert, Jr. and Ida Trosclair; daughter-in-law, Tammy Trosclair; brothers, Freddie Trosclair, Fleming Trosclair, Sr., Philbert Trosclair, III, Irvin Trosclair; sisters, Lydia Allemand, Emily Cheramie, Pearl Bourgeois.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
